I have gone on the forum and have read some of the feedback. I have received my first loan, and
thinking about advancing. But as I read I have to question. I have no problems with customer service,
I always get my questions answered. The fees are a bit drastic, but that is how it works when we really
need cash and nowhere else to get it from. I really hoe my experience turn out to be a good one, and I
can continue to borrow from here.

I received a few calls from you guys at one of my previous employers stating that I owed you money. I took out a loan probably close to 2 years ago for $150 and paid it back in full with interest. My boss demanded that you never call again and you did probably a month later. Causing me to be written up.
I now am receiving calls from some law firm that I cannot find any information about online called CDR associates. The only ones I can find are a medical billing law firm and a non-profit organization. They have threatened to sue me, which is illegal to do, garnish my wages, have me arrested, and several other illegal things.
They claim that I took out a loan for $300 but would not tell me any details. I never took out a second loan. And in fact I believe my identity was stolen shortly after I repaid the loan I did take out for $150 and I was forced to close my bank account due to it being overdrawn by hundreds of dollars in unauthorized charges. After investigating the matter, my bank found me not at fault and returned my money and fees.
I want to know what is going on. Is this a company you work with? If so are you aware that they are attempting to collect a debt that does not exist and they are doing so in completely illegal ways?
I'm not at all satisfied. I trusted your company with my information, took out a loan that I ended up paying back probably twice over, and now am being accused of taking out a second loan which never happened. They now claim they will sue me for thousands of dollars unless I pay them $1,200 now.
Also, I looked into my state laws and you charged me more interest than what is legal in my state. My state laws also state that no matter what your terms may say about what laws I must abide by when entering a contract, you as the lender must abide by my state laws.

Hi, David.
It seems that you are a victim of a fake collector who has used the CashNetUSA name to appear legitimate. We are sorry to hear about the harassment you experienced, especially the calls to your employer. I can assure you that CDR Associates are not affiliated with us. Our in-house collectors follow strict policies and procedures, industry best practices, and comply with the law. Additionally, we follow all state regulations and strictly adhere to them.
Here are some next steps you should take:
- Please contact the CashNetUSA Fraud Prevention Team with details of the incident you shared here at 866.254.3581. I have alerted the team of this post.
- Contact your State Attorney General’s office and the Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint. Use the FTC link https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and reference “fake payday collection fraud.”
The Federal Trade Commission has published a list of debt collection questions and answers that is also a useful resource if you are unsure of the legitimacy of a debt collection request. You can find them here: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pub…..cre18.shtm
Please remember these steps if you continue to receive such calls:
-Please DO NOT give them any additional personal information or money unless they are able to prove they are legitimate by providing you with a legitimate loan contract or payment history information.
-Tell them that you will not make any payments or give out any personal information unless the details of the original loan or payment history can be confirmed.
-It is perfectly fine to hang up on abusive or threatening debt collectors.
-Unfortunately, because we are in no way associated with these companies, we are unable to stop them from making the calls.
We are doing our best to help authorities put an end to these fraudulent scams. Again, we are sorry you have received these stressful calls.
