Hey Katie, great question! In Kansas, as well as a few other states, CashNetUSA offers a “Line of Credit” product, where you can actually take out as much or as little as you want, as often as you want, up to the maximum credit limit.
If your credit limit is $1,000 and you only borrow $500, then you will still have $500 in available credit that you can borrow at any time, and can do so by logging into your CashNetUSA account. Fees and interest do not reduce the amount you have available to borrow. As you pay off your principal, more credit will be available to you. For example, if you repay $100 of your principal, then you would have $600 in available credit that you can borrow. Just so you know, your credit limit may increase with a successful repayment history. Also, you can view your account balance by logging into your account, which includes your available credit and amount owed (principal plus any interest and fees).
Our "Line of Credit" product is not available in all states. Depending on the state you live in, you may be offered a payday or installment loan product instead. If you received a payday or installment loan and were approved for $1,000 but only took out a loan for $500, you would need to contact our customer service at 1-888-801-9075 to ‘pay off’ your existing loan and then take out a loan for the higher amount, if still available. We have a handy map you can look at to determine what products are available in your state here.
Thanks for using CashNetUSA, Katie! Hope this gave you a good idea of how Line of Credit works! :)
